The number 1 most wanted person at the municipal level and number 2 at the provincial level in Negros Oriental was arrested in Brgy. Linantayan, Basay, on Monday, Sept. 1.
The suspect is facing a charge for statutory rape under the Revised Penal Code, the police said.
The case is non-bailable and the warrant of arrest was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 63 judge in Bayawan City.
The operation was carried out by the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office through its Provincial Intelligence Unit and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.
