XFM 96.7 Bacolod station manager Brian Morden was elected president of the Negros Press Club (NPC) in a three-cornered fight on Saturday, January 21.
Morden won with 36 votes against Rey Siason who garnered 30 votes and Erwin Delilan – 24 votes.
The other winners are Merlinda Pedrosa (Sunstar Bacolod) – vice president, Prime Tejida (DyHB RMN Bacolod) – secretary, Max Macahilo (Negros Now) – treasurer and Elsie Jolingan (RPN DyKB Bacolod ) -auditor.
The directors are Jemlo Victosa (DyHB RMN Bacolod), Mae Singuay (Panay News), Marchel Espina (Sunstar Bacolod), and Alvin Grava (DyEZ Aksyon Radyo).
NPC past presidents Modesto Sa-onoy, Boy Duran, Chrysee Samillano and Glazyl Masculino-Jopson composed the NPC Election Committee.*
