A 33-year-old man who went missing after being swept away by flash flood waters in Moises Padilla was found dead on Wednesday morning, Feb. 11.
Personnel of the Moises Padilla Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office recovered the victim’s body at around 11 a.m. at the Binalbagan River in Barangay 4, Moises Padilla.
Police identified the victim as Jereme Tanato, 33, a resident of Brgy. Magacahay, Moises Padilla.
Tanato was reported missing at around 3 p.m. on Tuesday after he was swept away by flash flood waters while crossing the Binalbagan River in Purok Sab-a, Barangay Montilla.
The Moises Padilla Municipal Police Station, led by responding patrol personnel, coordinated with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office for retrieval operations.*
