Bacolod Mayor Greg Gasataya has ordered the early processing of business and mayor’s permits effective Monday, November 17.
“All concerned departments, offices, and units are hereby directed to commence the early processing of business and mayor’s permits,” Gasataya said in a memorandum issued Nov. 13.
This is being conducted to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of business and mayor’s permits for calendar year 2026 as well as avoid congestion and delays during the regular renewal period in January, he said.
All offices involved in the permitting process such as the City Treasurer’s Office, City Planning and Development Office/ Zoning, City Engineer’s Office, City Health Office, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Business Permits and Licensing Office are directed to designate personnel and implement appropriate measures to accommodate applicants starting Monday, Gasataya said.*
