A flockman died on Wednesday, April 3, after he was mauled by his alleged co-workers at a poultry farm in Purok Kalubihan, Brgy. Tabunan, Bago City, Negros Occidental, on Sunday, March 31.
The 43-year-old flockman, whose name was withheld, was mauled by two men, the police reported on Thursday, April 4.
A witness said that he heard a commotion outside his house and saw one of the suspects stepping on the victim’s head while he was sleeping and the other was punching him on different parts of his body.
The victim was brought to a hospital and was released on Monday, April 1.
However, the victim was brought back to the hospital on Tuesday for shortness of breath and died on Wednesday, the police said.*
