A laborer was found dead in a sugarcane field in Hacienda Quinaroyan, Brgy. San Pablo, Manapla, Negros Occidental, Friday, Nov. 24.
Junnie Rebaton, 24, of Barangay San Pablo sustained multiple gunshot wounds, the police said.
PSSgt. Mark Jansen Guavez said Rebaton was reported missing Friday and his body was found later in the day.
The police recovered three fired .45 caliber pistol cartridges and a phone at the scene of the crime.
The police are looking for some persons of interest and determining the motive for the killing.*
