A 31-year-old man was shot to death at Purok Adarna in Barangay 16, Bacolod City, Thursday, November 25.
Killed was Mark Christian Luceño.
Maj. Ramel Sarona, Police Station 1 chief, said the victim was sitting in a trisikad when he was approached by the motorcycle-riding suspect who shot him on the head.
Luceño died on the spot.
Sarona said the victim was previously jailed for stealing and illegal drugs. This is one of the motives for the killing they are looking into, he said.
But according to the victim’s family, Luceño had stopped his illegal activities.*
