A man who was resting in his house was gunned down by an unidentified suspect at Sitio Hayangon, Brgy. Magticol, Toboso, Negros Occidental, Tuesday night, March 15.
Killed was 31-year-old Renan Hermitanio.
Based on the police investigation, the victim was lying in a hammock when he was peppered with bullets by the unknown perpetrator. The victim succumbed to a gunshot wound on his chest.
He died instantly.
The victim’s cadaver was brought to the Municipal Health Center for post-mortem examination.
The police are still investigating the motive for the killing.*
