A 36-year-old man died after he was electrocuted while working in Purok Lubi 1, Brgy. Caridad, Bago City, on Thursday morning, Nov. 27.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was a resident of Brgy. Ilijan, Bago.
The victim and a co-worker were carrying a hand-tractor motor from a rice field toward the road when the accident happened, the police said.
The victim accidentally touched a hanging electrical line that stretched from the road to a nearby residence, the co-worker said.
The victim was electrocuted and fell into a canal.
He was brought to the Bago City Hospital where her was declared dead.*
