The Land Transportation Office and police arrested an alleged manufacturer of fake drivers’ licenses in Bago City and two others in Bacolod City Thursday, August 26, LTO 6 Assistant Regional Director Gaudioso Geduspan said.

They were arrested for license fixing activities and falsification of driver’s licenses, he said.

Marlon Pandungan was arrested at his home in Bago City where he manufactures fake licenses, Geduspan said.

Fifteen fake drivers’ licenses, and the machines and supplies used by Pandungan for their manufacture were confiscated, he said.

Jefferson Panisa and Loribelle Antiquera were arrested at the Central Market in Bacolod City with five fake driver’s licenses, Geduspan added.

The joint anti-fixing entrapment and follow-up operations were led by Geduspan along with the Bacolod and Bago police.

The three will face charges for violation of the Anti-Red Tape Act and for falsification of public documents.

It appears that Pandungan may have also been manufacturing fake LTO official receipts, Geduspan.

Also recovered from Pandungan were stamps of schools that could indicate that he was also manufacturing fake diplomas, he added.*
