Leo Rey Yanson was re-appointed chairman of the board and president of Southern Star Bus Transport Inc. (SSBTI) in an annual stockholders meeting today, January 18.
He was also reappointed chairman and president of Bachelor Express Inc. and Mindanao Star Bus Transport Inc. of the Yanson Group of Bus Companies at the stockholders meetings of the two firms during the weekend.
Yanson matriarch Olivia Yanson was also re-appointed as SSBTI’s corporate secretary today.
Aside from Leo Rey and Olivia, Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Charles M. Dumancas and Arvin John Villaruel were also re-elected as members of the SSBTI board of directors.
Leo Rey said despite the challenges faced in 2020, SSBTI remains strong and resilient. It continues to be steadfast in its goal to serve the Filipino people, he said.
