Isabela Mayor Irene Montilla said that local vendors are the only ones allowed to sell at the town’s public market from September 20 to October 3 as a COVID-19 deterrent.
In the mayor’s Executive Order No. 34 issued on September 21, it said that vendors from other municipalities and cities are not allowed to sell at the Isabela Public Market during the period.
All restaurants and coffee shops operating in the town should also be on a takeout basis, as dine-in is strictly prohibited, the EO said.
Persons who will violate the order may be arrested and charged.*
