A Lasallian is making waves in Pakistan and the Asia Pacific region after being named as top executive of leading food and beverage company, Nestlé , the University of St. La Salle (USLS) in Bacolod City announced.
Nestlé Pakistan recently announced Jason Avanceña as its newest Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. He assumed the position since March 2023.
With this achievement, Avanceña became the highest ranking Filipino in the entire Nestlé organization worldwide. The USLS said.
Prior to his current role, Avanceña assumed various roles in different Nestlé markets including Indonesia, the Philippines, Switzerland, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Avanceña is an alumnus of Batch 1991 of the USLS – Integrated School in Bacolod and earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Economics from the De La Salle University.
He also has an MBA degree from Fordham University, New York, USA.*
