Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has gone on a 10-day leave starting Thursday, Nov. 7, until Nov. 17.

Lacson, in Executive Order 20-47, designated Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer as acting governor until Nov. 17.

He also designated Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko as acting vice governor.

The governor, who will be in Canada, said the designations of Ferrer and Ko were necessary to ensure the continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services.*
