Vice Gov. Jose Benito Alonso will be acting governor of Negros Occidental starting Saturday, Dec. 20, until January 3.
Board Member Genaro Alvarez IV will be acting vice governor for the same period.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson issued an order on Friday designating them to the posts while he is in Singapore for “personal reasons”.
Lacson said he was designating them “to ensure continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services’ while he is gone.*
