Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has designated Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer acting governor of Negros Occidental from Wednesday to Friday, August 7 to 9.
Lacson, in Executive Order No. 24-29 Series of 2024, also designated Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko acting vice governor.
Lacson said he will be traveling to Hong Kong for personal reasons.
To ensure the continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services, it is necessary to designate an acting governor and acting vice governor while he is on leave, Lacson said.*
