Lacson conferred 2023 Gawad Parangal Award

Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson was conferred the 2023 Gawad Parangal Award by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) during its fifth founding anniversary at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City on Monday, Dec. 4.

The two other awardees from Western Visayas are Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Director Juan Jovian E. Ingeniero and Prosecutor Flosemer Chris I. Gonzales.

Lacson is chairperson of WV Regional Peace and Order Council.

“The Gawad Parangal Award aims to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of those who have made a positive impact on our society and worked in the convergence of the efforts to attain our goals in ending the local armed conflict”, the DILG said.
