A laborer was stabbed dead by his alleged drinking companion in Brgy. Banog-Banog, Isabela, Friday May 3.
The 35-year-old laborer was stabbed by a 31-year-old man, the police, who withheld their names, said.
The victim and the suspect were having a drinking spree at a “kubo” house of the suspect when a heated argument ensued between them, the police said.
This allegedly prompted the suspect to stab the victim in the stomach and flee.
The police conducted a pursuit operation that led to the arrest of the suspect in Brgy. Sikatuna, Isabela.
He is now detained at the Isabela Police Station.*
