A 56-year-old man was stabbed to death during a wedding celebration in Brgy. Quintin Remo, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, early Wednesday, March 18.
Police identified the victim as a laborer and the suspect as alias “Geri” of Brgy. Quintin Remo.
The Moises Padilla police said the victim was dancing at the celebration when the suspect, allegedly under the influence of liquor, suddenly arrived and stabbed him in the chest with a bladed weapon.
The victim was rushed to the municipal health infirmary and later referred to Ignacio Lacson Arroyo Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Isabela where he was declared dead.
The suspect fled after the incident.*
