A laborer was stabbed to death at a covered court in Brgy. Linao, Kabankalan City, Saturday, August 19, the police said.
Killed was Samuel Melanio, 65, from Sitio Canlipot, Brgy. Linao who was allegedly stabbed by Ramily Tolog, 26.
While celebrating a successful basketball game the suspect suddenly stabbed the victim in his abdomen, the police said
The victim was rushed to the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital but was declared dead.
Tolog fled after the incident, the police said.
