A laborer was shot dead by a driver in Purok 1, Brgy. Carabalan, Himamaylan City, on Wednesday, March 20.
Willian Balsimo, 38, was allegedly shot by a driver who fled after the incident Wednesday night, the police reported on Thursday.
The victim was sitting inside a tricycle when the suspect suddenly shot him in the chest, the police said.
PLt. Col. Anthony Grande said that according to the victim’s cousin, he came from a wake and stopped by their store to buy drinks when the incident happened.
The victim was brought to the Gov. Valeriano Gatuslao Memorial Hospital but was declared dead.*
