Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson led the blessing and inauguration of the newly upgraded Hemodialysis Unit at the provincial government-run Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial District Hospital (DSBMDH) in La Carlota City on Friday, Sept. 5.
The renovated facility now offers improved, safer, and more efficient dialysis services for patients in need of kidney care, Lacson said.
Lacson said that the upgraded unit stands as a testament to the provincial government’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality healthcare to every Negrense.
He also noted that the enhanced facility will empower healthcare professionals to provide even better care to patients.
Joining the governor at the event were La Carlota City Mayor Jose Luis Jalandoni, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Girlie Pinongan, and DSBMDH Chief of Hospital Dr. George Salvador Parreno.*
