Getting ready for All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day*

Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson reminded the public on Tuesday, October 31, to take the necessary precautions to ensure the safe celebration of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on Wednesday and Thursday.

“We discourage the drinking of liquor and the carrying of deadly weapons while visiting the cemeteries,” he said, stressing the need for Negrenses to instead focus on enjoying family gatherings.

He also reminded the public to bring jackets and umbrellas as it may rain in the next few says.

For those taking advantage of the holidays to go on outings, drive safely, the governor also said.
