Kanlaon Volcano spewed ash for eight minutes on Friday, Nov. 21, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The volcano spewed ash starting 07:12 a.m. Friday, it said.
The event generated grayish plumes that rose 75 meters above the crater before drifting to the west-southwest, Phivolcs said.
It was a weak ash emission and no ash fall was monitored, Ptolemy Mañego, Phivolcs science research assistant, said.
Kanlaon Volcano remains under Alert Level 2.*
