A person suffering from a mental disorder was stabbed dead by the owner of the house where he was staying in Purok Bougainvillea, Brgy. Tampalon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, June 24.
He was stabbed by Jose Jorgin Pedelliome, 43, the police said.
The victim was eating lunch when they had a heated argument prompting Pedelliome to take a kitchen knife and stab him in the chest, the police said.
The suspect voluntarily surrendered to the responding barangay officials.
Police investigation revealed that the suspect allowed the victim to stay at his house because he was living alone.
The victim’s family has decided to file homicide charges against the suspect.*
