The police arrested one person and seized suspected shabu worth P122,400 in a buy-bust operation at Burgos Street, Brgy. 9, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, May 30.
Arrested was a 48-year-old man, whose name was withheld by the police.
Recovered from him were nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing 18 grams.
Also recovered from the suspect were the buy-bust money, paper bills, an improvised tooter with traces of suspected shabu, and several non-drug evidence.
The suspect is now under the custody of Kabankalan Police Station, while the recovered drug items were brought to Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.*
