Victorias City is prepared to house 500 evacuees from La Carlota City should another Kanlaon Volcano eruption occur.
Victorias Mayor Javier Miguel “Javi” Benitez said he is about to sign an agreement with La Carlota City Mayor Rex Jalandoon.
“We have already approved internally a memorandum of agreement…Victorias is more than willing to help,” Benitez said.
The evacuees will be housed at the Victorias City evacuation center, he said.*
