Javi unveils Victorias Sidlak artists’ park signage

Victorias City celebrated its vibrant creative industry with the unveiling of the Victorias Sidlak Artists’ Park signage at the City Public Plaza Skating Rink on Friday, April 19.

Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez, Vice Mayor Abelardo Bantug III, and Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Paolo Valladarez led the unveiling of the park signage.

The project was made possible by Victorias City’s success in the Lunsod Lunsad: A Call for Creative Proposals launched by the Department of Trade and Industry in October 2023.

The signage at the park’s entrance represents Victorias City’s dedication to preserving the rich artistic achievements of its creative industry.

It symbolizes the city’s artistic heritage and the lasting influence of the first Lunsod Lunsad Project.

Victorias Sidlak Artists’ Park provides local artists with a dynamic platform to showcase their work while offering residents and visitors an immersive experience in cultural diversity and creativity.

This project solidifies Victorias City’s support for its artistic community and strengthens its reputation as a hub for cultural exchange and innovation.

City officials and department heads were all present during the unveiling to show their support to the project. *
