Indian bizman shot

An Indian businessman was injured after he was shot by two unidentified suspects in Brgy. Poblacion 1, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, on Friday, January 12.

The 44-year-old businessman, whose name was withheld, was shot near his rented apartment at about 8:15 p.m., the police said.

He was walking towards his apartment when one of the two unidentified suspects rushed forwards him and shot him.

The victim was hit on his left leg and was brought to the Lopez District Farmers Hospital.

The victim was later transferred to the Queen of Mercy Hospital in Bacolod City and is now in stable condition, the police said.

The suspects fled after the incident.*
