The Negros Occidental provincial government–run Eleuterio T. Decena Memorial Hospital in Hinoba-an has officially been renamed Hinoba-an District Hospital and relocated to a new site in Barangay Po-ok.
The Department of Health – NIR Center for Health Development has issued a License to Operate for the hospital, effective November 17, and hospital operations will be transferred gradually to the new location.
The Outpatient Department (OPD) and prenatal services will begin operating at the new site on Tuesday, December 23, while other hospital services are scheduled to be fully operational by Jan. 1, 2026.
Effective Jan. 1, 2026, all hospital operations and transactions will officially be conducted under the name Hinoba-an District Hospital.*
