The Bacolod City government is gearing up for its New Year’s countdown dubbed “High Five to 2025” at the Bacolod City Government Center on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
“Bacolod City invites everyone to an unforgettable evening as we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025 with open arms and high spirits,” a press release from the city government said.
This year’s New Year countdown will celebrate Bacolod’s achievements over the past year and set the stage for even greater milestones ahead, the press release said.
“The event promises a thrilling night with a raffle, games, entertainment, and fireworks to light up the City of Smiles,” it added.
The celebration will start with an acoustic band at 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., pre-show 8 to 10 p.m., comedian’s show at 10 to 11:30 p.m., minor raffle – 11:30 p.m., fireworks at midnight and a grand raffle at 12:12 a.m., the press release said.*
