The Bacolod City government will hold COVID-19 vaccination exercises in 10 barangays from 8 a.m. to noon Friday morning, March 18.
Ten health care workers per center will be vaccinated with Sinovac vaccines, Dr. Chris Sorongon, Bacolod Emergency Operations Center deputy for medical data and analysis, said.
The exercises affirm the high rating by the Department of Health of Bacolod City’s readiness for the mass COVID-19 vaccination drive, he said.
The exercises will also boost the confidence and competence of the city’s vaccination teams and enable them to identify their strengths and weaknesses, he said.
The 10 vaccination centers will be in gyms at barangays 4, 39, Alijis, Banago, Granada, Handumanan. Mansilingan, Pahanocoy, Punta Taytay and Taculing, he said.*
