Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said his birthday wish is for Negros Occidental to be calamity-free in 2026 after the series of disasters that hit the province in 2025.
The governor turns 66 on Saturday, December 13.
“I wish well for the province, every year I wish that we will be calamity-free and I will continue to wish that,” he said.
“I wish everyone happiness, good health and prosperity,” he added.
A series of Kanlaon Volcano eruptions, typhoons, and floods caused thousands of Negrenses to evacuate in 2025.*
