Guv to ink P87.2M agreement at Cinco de Noviembre rites

Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson will sign an agreement for the implementation of P87.2 million in projects during the Cinco de Noviembre celebration at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon Park in Bacolod City on Saturday morning, November 5.

The signing of the implementation management agreement between the provincial government and the Department of Agriculture-Philippine Rural Development Project will cover approved subprojects of six cooperatives and associations for additional financing, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Friday.

The projects are the SalvAntiCam Native Chicken Breeding, Production and Marketing Enterprise in Pontevedra – P14.9 million, Negros Occidental Goat Breeding and Marketing Enterprise in Calatrava – P13.4 million, Negros Occidental Virgin Coconut Oil Production and Marketing Enterprise in Cauayan – P14.9 million;

CHICKS Area Coffee Processing and Marketing Enterprise in Sipalay City – P14.9 million, Cadiz City Coffee Processing and Marketing Enterprise in Cadiz City – P14.9 million and the Kape Primera De La Castellana Processing and Marketing Enterprise in La Castellana – P13.8 million.

Lacson and Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer will also turnover checks to the beneficiaries of the Barangay Insurance Program during the Cinco de Noviembre rites.*
