Guv names new TLDC head, focal person on documentation

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has named a new Technology and Livelihood Development Center (TLDC) head and a focal person to facilitate the documentation of the best practices of Negros Occidental, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Friday, March 18.

Lacson designated Dr. Ma. Cristina Orbecido, Negros Occidental Language and IT Center head, the focal person in a concurrent capacity.

She is tasked to coordinate with personnel of the Provincial Planning and Development Office to validate all documents gathered and prepared by their office relative to entries for regional and national awards.

The governor has also designated Anna Leah Silva, head of the Provincial Economic Development Investment Center, officer-in-charge of the TLDC.

Gerard Tupas, who headed the TLDC, is set to retire in July after 15 years in government service.*
