Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has appointed an officer-in-charge of the Negros Occidental Provincial Disaster Management Program Division (PDMPD) effective immediately.
Appointed to the post is Mariefe L. Macaya, Project Development Officer IV of the Provincial Administrator’s Office, a copy of the governor’s office order released to the media Friday, February 17, said.
Macaya was appointed to the post left vacant with the transfer of former PDMPD head Zeaphard Gerhart V. Caelian to the Silay City Assessor’s Office.
Macaya will be responsible for all routine work and functions of the PDMPD, and is directed to attend meetings, act on communications, and sign or initial all official documents sent to the division, Lacson said.*
