Negros Occidental towns and cities are being encouraged to participate in all of the events at the 30th Panaad sa Negros Festival from April 13 to 19, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said on Friday, Feb. 6.
“We are encouraging them to participate in every event at the Panaad, which is marking a milestone year,” he said.
A best LGU pavilion contest will be held, Diaz also said.
He said that the provincial government is allocating ₱50 million for the festival, and larger subsidies for the participating local government units are being considered.
Best entertainers who will attract the youth will also be brought in to perform at the festival, Diaz said.
The Negrosanon Young Leaders Institute is the partner of the province for the 30th Panaad sa Negros Festival.*
