Team Asenso led by Bacolod City mayoral aspirant Alfredo “Albee” Benitez continues to spread hope and happiness through its virtual raffle draws.
In special virtual raffles with the theme “Safe na, Masadya Pa”, winners get the opportunity to “hakot” or collect P20,000 worth of grocery items.
Armando Nabor, a Granada resident and a Barangay Tanod, was picking Calamansi in his garden when his name was called as the lucky winner. He decided to get some grocery items to start his mini sari-sari store. One thing that the audience noticed is during the last 20 seconds of the challenge, Nabor took six bottles of an alcoholic drink.
“These are for my nephews and my fellow tanods but I don’t drink these,” said Nabor, who was happy to share his happiness with his family and neighbors, as audiences burst into laughter.
Another winner from Brgy. Banago, Evelyn Caburatan, also thanked Team Asenso and Benitez for the opportunity to let her win.
Other winners of the P20,000 grocery haul challenge are Emcel Redel who was represented by his wife from Brgy. Taculing, and Renalie Echarri from Brgy. Bata.
As the weeks progress more and more lucky Bacolodnons will experience a change in their lives, a Change only mayoral aspirant Benitez can bring, the press release said.
