The eighth most wanted person in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, was arrested by the police on Tuesday, January 30.
Lucille Pines, 63, former head of the Negros Occidental provincial government General Services Office, was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest at Goldcrest Subdivision in Brgy. Zone 15, Talisay, Tuesday morning.
She was charged with two counts of estafa with bail fixed at P108,000 each.
The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 48 judge in Bacolod City on December 29.
The operation was conducted by the Talisay City Police Station with operatives from the Bacolod City Maritime Police Station, and 605th Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
The suspect was brought to the Talisay City Health Office for a medical check-up and is currently under the custody of the Talisay police.*
