Fire destroyed one house and damaged another in Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, 11:54 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, the Bacolod Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported Wednesday.
The fire began in a bedroom on the second floor of the house of Rosie Narciso Canlas and spread to the house of Edwin Canlas Dacomos, the report said.
Damage was initially placed at P75,000. No one was injured in the fire.
Initial investigation showed that the fire could have been caused by a candle, Chief Inspector Rodel Legaspi, Bacolod fire marshal, said.*
