Two houses valued at P1.5 million were destroyed in Zone 2, Brgy. Payao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, Nov. 7.
The houses were owned by the Anilado and Salapante families.
The fire originated from the residence of the Anilado family and it spread to the Salapante family’s home, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.
Destruction to the Anilado house was placed at P500,000 and P1 million to the Salapante family’s house, appliances, car, jewelry, and other valuables, the BFP said.*
