Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, Ferdinand Marcos Jr.-Sara Duterte campaign leader in the province, led a celebration of what he called their wide lead in the national count at a party at Stonehill Suites in Bacolod City on Monday, May 9.
The overwhelming support for Marcos and Duterte nationwide humbled him and his provincial team of loyalists and die-hard supporters, Ferrer said in a press release.
“As we monitor how the winning of BBM and Sara Duterte progresses, it lifts our spirits considering the challenges and rigors that we have gone through during the campaign. We have seen how the Negrenses showed their support to the UniTeam ticket”, he said.
Ferrer said he and his wife, Rep. Juliet Marie Ferrer (Neg. Occ., 4th District), are grateful to everyone who joined them in this cause.
Ferrer was joined by Vallacar Transit Inc. chairman and president Leo Rey Yanson, Silver Dragon Construction and Lumber and Glass Supply Inc. founder Jerry Sy, Negros Occidental Gun Club president Janet Gonzaga, former Murcia Mayor Sonny Coscolluela, the provincial BBM-Duterte spokesman, at the party, the press release said.
Marcos, in a video message, greeted Ferrer a belated happy birthday and thanked him for his support.*
