Feeding drive launched for Kabankalan pupils

A total of 5, 358 elementary pupils in Kabankakan City will benefit from a feeding program launched by the Department of Education (DepEd) in Kabankalan City Tuesday, March 9.

The Schools Division Office Kabankalan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) for the school based feeding program, a press release from the city said.

Under the MOU, the City Agriculture Office was named as supplier under the city government’s milk production project.

During the event, the DepEd Regional Office gave Mayor Pedro Zayco a plaque of appreciation for his support and contribution to Schools Division Office of Kabankalan City.

Also present were Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Portia Mallorca.*
