Fashion shop sustains P1.26M damage in Bacolod fire

A fire damaged a commercial establishment in Brgy. Handumanan, Bacolod City, early Tuesday, Dec. 3, resulting in an estimated ₱1.26 million worth of property loss.

The Bureau of Fire Protection said the blaze broke out at around 4:28 a.m. at Kairu Fashion Shop at Zone 2 .

Firefighters raised the first alarm at 4:40 a.m. and declared the fire under control at 4:45 a.m., before it was fully extinguished at 4:47 a.m.

The fire affected a three-storey structure covering about 105 square meters, authorities said.

A total of 20 BFP personnel responded using multiple fire trucks, ambulances, and rescue units.

Investigators are determining the cause of the fire.*
