A 38-year-old man was stabbed multiple times causing his death in Sitio Cubay, Brgy. Poblacion, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, on Tuesday, October 24.
The man was stabbed by a 46-year-old suspect after a heated argument at a drinking session, Tuesday night, the police reported.
The names of the victim and the suspect were withheld by the police.
The suspect armed with a bladed weapon stabbed the victim several times resulting to multiple stab wounds, the police said.
The victim was rushed to the Vicente Gustilo Memorial District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The suspect was arrested in a hot pursuit operation and a bladed weapon measuring 11 inches was recovered from him.
He is now under the custody of Escalante City Police Station.*
