The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) awarded eight top performing police stations during their flag raising ceremony at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City, on Monday, Feb. 3.
They were awarded for their “Birada Semana” performance from Jan. 6 to 12.
The Calatrava Municipal Police Station was awarded for the most number of police operations versus illegal gambling, while the Escalante City Police Station was awarded for the most number of police operations and arrests of wanted persons.
The Cadiz, Escalante, Kabankalan, Sagay, Talisay and Don Salvador Benedicto police stations, and the Provincial Intelligence Unit of NOCPPO were also recognized for having the most number of operations versus loose firearms.*
