The police arrested a high-value target and seized suspected shabu worth P136,000 and a firearm in a buy bust operation in Purok Gumamela, Brgy. Calindagan, Dumaguete City, Friday night, Dec. 15.
Arrested was Billie Generoso Las Piñas and seized from him were 20 grams of suspected shabu and a .22 caliber revolver with ammunition, the police reported.
Dumaguete City Police Chief Ronoel Fungo commended the police for the operation and assured that the station will continue to be vigilant in its efforts to combat the proliferation of illegal drugs and uphold the safety of the community.*
