The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) honored the outstanding achievements of the Top 12 Best Performing Barangays in Bacolod City following a recent performance assessment at rites held at Acacia Hotel on Thursday, Dec. 7.
The assessment covered key areas, including the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB), compliance to administrative governance, accomplishment reports, Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Initiatives, and awards received, the DILG announced.
The 12 awardees for 2023 are:

Barangay Taculing
The event highlighted the dedication of the honored barangays to excellence and their significant contributions to the development of Bacolod City, a DILG Bacolod statement said.
Meanwhile, eight Bacolod barangays were recipients of Seals of Good Local Governance for Barangays.
The eight are barangays Taculing, Pahanocoy, Montevista, Mansilingan, 15, Granada, Felisa and Bata, the DILG announced.*
