All is set for the Panaad sa Negros Festiva with Ben and Ben set to perform on the opening night on Monday, April 13.
A gun ban will be in place in Bacolod City during the festival that will run until April 19.
The final Panaad coordination meeting was held with the executive committee and LGU coordinators on Tuesday, April 7, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said.
A total of 180 policemen will be deployed to secure the festival along with the provincial government’s security force, he added.
The current high price of oil is also one of the challenges facing the celebration, Diaz said.
Diaz said they are urging LGUs to support those who will participate in the celebration.
Among those expected to attend the festival are Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito and San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora.*
