September 30 will be the last day for voters’ registration and the filing of certificates of candidacy for the May 2025 polls will be from October 1 to 8, Negros Occidental Provincial Elections Supervisor Ian Lee Ananoria said.
He said those who have not registered yet should hurry up and do so because there will be no extension to the September 30 deadline.
The filing of COCs for governor, vice governor, Sangguniang Panlalawigan and congressional posts will be held at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol, he also said.
The filing of COCs of candidates for mayor, vice mayor and councilor will be at their respective town and city Comelec offices.*
